On May 24th, in the premises of the Student Center of Excellence at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade, Road Arrow, in collaboration with the team Beoavia and the Institute for Blood Transfusion of Serbia, organized a blood donation campaign.
Blood is one of the most vital components in the human body, and it is crucial for hospitals and other medical facilities to always have sufficient blood supplies, as patients cannot wait for blood when in need. Blood must be available at all times – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Recent tragic events that affected our country have emphasized the importance of blood donation. That’s precisely why we decided to contribute to the saving and helping of people in need.
