FSRA 2013 vehicle

The judges at the competition said they had “never seen a car this quick off the line”. That may be the shortest – and best – description of Road Arrow 2013. Only the team’s second car, it went from 0 to 100 km/h in under 4 seconds. A full 42 kilograms lighter and 20 horsepower stronger than its predecessor, it helped the team finish in the top ten at the competition in Italy. Improvements were made across the board: an optimised chassis design, a different bodywork manufacturing technology, improved ergonomics and new electronics…

The biggest changes, without doubt, were to the intake and exhaust manifolds. A completely new intake geometry helped our engine, limited by a 20 mm restrictor, to “breathe through a straw” more efficiently. All of this helped “Road Arrow 2013” set new standards of quality.
