“Road Arrow,” the first Serbian Formula Student team, will ceremoniously present its first formula with an electric drive on Thursday, December 16, at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade.
We have participated in over 20 competitions with 9 vehicles powered by internal combustion engines (ICE), and in the 2022 season, we officially become a team that manufactures vehicles with electric propulsion.
The recognizable ICE model has been the basis of each of our racing cars so far. However, with the advancement of technology and the awareness of the advantages of electric vehicles, we have decided to become the first student team in Serbia to create a formula with an electric drive.
The idea of an electric vehicle in our team emerged back in 2017, but until now, there was no opportunity to realize it. From this year on, the only type of vehicle that students will produce will be an electric vehicle. Modern technology posed a challenge, but the vision has been realized. With a lot of effort, the members have managed to turn the idea of a future vehicle into reality, and you will have the chance to see and support it on December 16 at the grand presentation of the electric vehicle by Road Arrow at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in the A auditorium.
