The Road Arrow Formula Student team will present a new vehicle on Monday, May 29th at 6pm in Amphitheatre A at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
The most demanding student project, led from start to finish exclusively by students, has now for seven years in a row become a reality!
The Road Arrow 2017 is the sixth vehicle designed and constructed by the team of students from the University of Belgrade. This year, the team consists of over 50 students, which have for been working on the construction of the new vehicle for 7 months. The team has been reorganized and the goals that were set at the start of the season have been successfully achieved. Compared to the previous year, significant improvements were made on the suspension system and driver ergonomics, the vehicle mass was reduced and its center of mass lowered.
Currently, production and the assembly of parts is taking place, and the results of months of hard work will be visible at the end of May, when the vehicle configuration will be officially presented before the representatives of the University and the Faculties, professors, friends of the project, alumni members, parents, friends as well as all interested visitors and fans of motorsport.
Also, we would like to invite all students that wish to be better acquainted with this project, to see first-hand what it looks like for dreams to come true and what students are capable of after just one season at Road Arrow!
Of course, after the rollout we will still have a lot of work waiting for us, test drives, competition prep, the trip to Italy and the Czech Republic by van, and the grand Road Arrow tour of 2017 begins on May 29th at 6pm!
