Road Arrow 2018 – Successful qualifications for 3 competitions

We are proud to announce that the Road Arrow team has qualified for three great European competitions – FS East, FS Italy and FS Czech Republic.

Since the team presented the first vehicle, Road Arrow is competing at FS Italy. This is the first competition in the season, and a challenge even for the best teams. It’s necessary to finish the formula on time, so there is enough time for the tests before the competition. This year, FSRA 2018 will get on Riccardo Paletti track on 11th July, and this will be the sixth time for our team to compete there! The first significant success of the team was happened on this circuit: 10th place out of 43 teams in 2013. Also, the design concept of an electric vehicle was presented on this competition in 2016, for which we have won the 3rd place.

Finally, last year we managed to get a record number of points in static events, thanks to the 10th place for Design Event and the 4th place for Cost Report, in competition with 50 teams. Considering our previous achievements at Formula Student Italy, we expect that FSRA 2018 will have a nice show off at the beginning of the competition season.

As a great success this season, we announce that we have qualified for the FS East (Zalaegerszeg, Hungary) for the first time. This prestigious European competition was founded recently, but it gathered the most successful teams from around the world in very short time.

Unfortunately, team won’t have a chance to compete in Hungary because of financial reasons. The resources received through sponsorships and donations in previous months were not sufficient to cover the amount needed for registration, so we had to give up on FS East in 2018.

Despite all this, we continue with hard work. The design of a new vehicle has been completed, and we are getting the materials and parts. Production is in progress, the plans for the competition season are now clear, and the expectations are high. The team has defined goals and we are all ready to do our best to achieve them. There is a period full of challenges, hard work and uncertainty, but also the time of the joy that only the making of a formula can bring!
